The Alliance is a group of Cornell University undergraduates, graduates, staff, and faculty concerned with improving the environment for lesbians, bisexuals, and gay men on campus. It was formed in Spring, 1993 after President Rhodes' second veto of a proposed undergraduate living and learning unit. Rhodes suggested forming some kind of study group on these issues.
